Summary of Experience
Graham Ervin commenced as a loss adjuster in 1984 and has worked in Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania.  He qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (UK) in 1997 and is currently a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters, a Senior Associate of the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance and a Certified Insurance Professional.  He also holds a Cert IV in Investigative Services as well as in Assessment and Workplace Training.  As an adjuster, Graham has handled a wide range of public and products liability, medical negligence, contract works, professional indemnity and employers' liability claims.

Graham has managed many major claims on behalf of insurers and Tasmanian Government departments including the Offices of the Solicitor General and the Director of Public Prosecutions. Graham co-ordinated a team of adjusters involved with handling a multiple fatality airplane crash and was engaged by a multi-national railway operator in relation to a substantial third party class action. He has recent experience with various large aquaculture claims arising from product loss and contamination and a major highway contract works claim. He has also investigated a number of underground mine fatalities and hospital related medical negligence claims.

Graham is an examiner in liability for the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance, a past state president of the same body, a former president of the Australian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters in Tasmania and he also served on the committee of the Australian Insurance Law Association (affiliated with AIDA) in Tasmania.

Graham commenced his current role as Crawford's Manager Strategy and Projects in March 2007.
