Crawford Market Update: Hurricane Joaquin Blasts the Central Bahamas
Category 4 Hurricane Joaquin continues to hammer the central Bahamas with 130 mph winds, storm surge flooding and torrential rain, and is expected to continue pounding the islands causing catastrophic damage through Friday. Joaquin's eyewall is hammering Samana Cays, the Acklins, Crooked Island, and Mayaguana in the central Bahamas, and is nearing Rum Cay, San Salvador and Long Island (Bahamas). Flooding from storm surge and torrential rainfall has been documented on Long Island and the Acklins.

Hailstorm hits Sydney – Crawford responds
On the afternoon of Saturday 25 April 2015 central and western Sydney was struck by a hailstorm.  The storm has caused significant damage in several suburbs and the western Sydney industrial precinct has been severely affected.  Up to 50cm of hail collected on the roof of numerous buildings including industrial complexes housing major distribution centres and factories.  In some cases buildings collapsed resulting in particularly large losses

An intense low pressure system has brought significant wind and rainfall to the New South Wales coast overnight. This wild weather currently sits near the boundary of the Hunter and Mid North Coast locations and is expected to move gradually south throughout the day.
